What specifically makes Phil and Salonwired so unique is the fact that he has historically been a practitioner of his business and management strategy and philosophy. Starting in the industry as a hair stylist he spent the first 25 years of his career managing large chain salon operations, eventually moving to his own salons and at the same time working as a stylist. To this day his legacy continues as his daughter co-owns and operates successful salons in Florida that Phil originated as well as he supports the continued business development of his wife’s salon in Atlanta.

They have been featured in Glamour, Allure, Mademoiselle, and Elle magazines. Steven served as Vice-President of TSA now PBA for over seven years. His straight talking style and his “Be BOLD” approach to life, is both refreshing and entertaining.

Since obtaining his Associate Degree of Applied Science in Visual Communications from ITT Technical Institute, Marcus has catapulted his career as a social media strategist and marketing professional, catering to some of the most elite clientele, now working in the salon and spa industry. With marketing and social media strategies executed with precision, industry expert, Phil Fennell has coined Marcus’s results and consistency, “The Marcus Effect” in which was featured in “Salon Today,” one of the nations premiere salon & spa publications.

 

Serving as the secret weapon behind the multimedia marketing campaign for Salon Greco—The European Day Spa, Marcus’s position as Marketing Director keeps him refining his skills as he maintains the email marketing, social media, online advertising, and reputation management of the salon and spa. His key role in the expansion of the organization has allowed him to analyze current trends and compare them to industry-specific growth indicators as he increases his clients’ web presence, consumer engagement, and overall interactivity with the brand.
